Purchasing managers glowing over local economy
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) - If local purchasing managers are any indication, the region’s economic growth won’t slow down anytime soon.

The Purchasing Manager’s Index has been on the bright side for fifteen consecutive months.

The Institute of Applied Research at Cal State San Bernardino found two key components of the PMI, new orders and production, suggest that manufacturing companies anticipate increasing purchases from consumers.

Thirty-five percent of purchasing managers surveyed predicted that the local economy will become stronger in the upcoming months whereas only 10% feel that the economy is weakening. Fifty-five percent of the purchasing managers believe the local economy will remain unchanged in the coming months.
