November General Election takes shape SACRAMENTO – (INT) – It’ll be a blue-red race to determine who will be the next California governor.
Democratic Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom and Republican John Cox are headed for a face-off, while former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa settles for a distant third on Tuesday’s statewide primary election. Senator Dianne Feinstein easily advanced to a Nov. 6 runoff election in her bid for a fifth term, but it remained unclear who will join her between Republican James P.
