California lawmakers Thursday passed the Fiscal Year 2018-19 Budget, the final agreement between the legislature and Governor Jerry Brown. Assembly Budget Committee Member Melissa Melendez (R-Lake Elsinore) had some reservations. “This budget represents a missed opportunity to enact policies so many Californians want such as reduced housing and rental costs, reduced utility costs, and tax relief for all Californians.” (INT)
