Two perish in plane crash near Hesperia Airport
HESPERIA – (INT) - Investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board are inspecting the wreckage of a single-engine plane that crashed Friday killing the two people on board.

First responders found the plane on fire adjacent to Summit Valley Road about one-quarter-of-a-mile south of the Hesperia Airport shortly after 5pm. There were early indications the plane may have struck some power lines which had fallen to the ground.

The coroner said the two men were flying out of the Hesperia Airport.

A vehicle on Summit Valley Road struck some of the debris, but no one else was hurt.
