Study ranks most-driver friendly large cities
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – This city is getting relative high marks among the nation’s 100 largest, most driver-friendly cities.
WalletHub considered 29 key metrics ranging from average gas prices to annual hours in traffic congestion per auto commuter to auto-repair shops per capita.
Overall, Riverside came in 54th, but was third-best among California cities outdone only by Irvine and Sacramento. San Bernardino was 87th in the 100-city nationwide survey. Riverside’s highest placement was 15th for safety.
On a sidebar, WalletHub said Riverside has the lowest average parking rate at $1.43 per two hours.
