CORONA – (INT) – Police are circulating a photo of a child’s t-shirt in hopes it will lead to those who abandoned a newborn infant girl.

Her tiny body wrapped in the t-shirt was found July 27th off the I-15 at Cajalco Road.

Investigators said Tuesday the t-shirt has a distinctive pattern in which someone in the community may recognize as belonging to someone they know.

Callers may remain anonymous, and although investigators will need to speak with them, any related police reports will not contain their personal information.

“If you think you may know the owner of this t-shirt, or if you have any information regarding this case, please don’t hesitate to give our detectives a call,” said Corona Police Chief James Patton. “We hope to bring resolution to this unspeakable and avoidable tragedy.”
