Fourteen men have been arrested during a summer crackdown on prostitution in Hesperia and San Bernardino. Eight men were caught by an undercover police officer in Hesperia. Earlier, results of a street-level ‘John’ operation in downtown San Bernardino were announced. Six men were arrested on suspicion of soliciting acts of prostitution from an undercover officer. It was the latest effort to suppress prostitution in the area. (INT)
