Holy Fire declared '100% contained
LAKE ELSINORE – (INT) – Officials with the Cleveland National Forest tweeted Thursday that the Holy Fire is ‘100% contained’.
The arson-caused fire is not completely out and the Forest Service said it will maintain patrols in the Santa Ana Mountains “to monitor for interior heat” in the event of flare-ups.
It is not clear how many personnel are still on scene or plans for full control.

The 23,000 acre fire destroyed more than a dozen homes and other structures mostly in Holy Jim Canyon before entering Riverside County forcing evacuations near Lake Elsinore.
The suspected arsonist remains jailed pending his next court appearance in October.
