Mountain communities putting on fall colors
IDYLLWILD – (INT) – Fall foliage is coming into full view in the resort communities of the San Bernardino and San Jacinto Mountains.

For some of the best up close views of the season’s colors, check out Deer Springs Trail off Highway 243 near Idyllwild. The Black Oak trees that line the trail have leaves that turn golden shades of orange and yellow.

Apple country around Oak Glen and Forest Falls in the San Bernardino Mountains offer lush fall colors and hiking trails from now through Thanksgiving.
