Riverside County gains new sheriff, county supervisors
RIVERSIDE - (INT) - Perhaps the biggest draw among the Riverside County-wide contests in Tuesday's balloting was the race for Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner.

Chad Bianco’s heavy use of placards, signs and billboards paid off as he turned his boss, Stan Sniff, out of office after 11-years as the county’s top cop. Bianco garnered 57% of the vote to Sniff's 43%.

There will be two new faces on the Riverside County Board of Supervisors. Karen Spiegel moves up the political ladder from Corona mayor to represent the Second District. Former State Assemblyman Russ Bogh will represent the Fifth District. Spiegel and Bogh replace retiring ‘supes’ John Tavaglione and Marion Ashley.
