LAKE ELSINORE – (INT) – An improper sexual relationship with a one-time student has landed a teacher at Temescal Canyon High School in jail.

Sheriff’s investigators say it happened over an 8-month period.

Russell Warren Strange, 54, of Canyon Lake was contacted at the school Friday, questioned and arrested.

The former student is now an adult and was under 14 years of age when the alleged incidents happened.

Investigators did not say when or where the acts occurred and did not list the victim’s gender, but said the incidents were reported October 25th.
