Inland Regional Center terror attack victims remembered
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) - Sunday marked the third anniversary of the December 2, 2015 attack at the Inland Regional Center. On that horrific day, 14 people were slain and 22 others injured in an act of terror.
The County Environmental Health Services family and the Board of Supervisors joined county employees, their families, and the public in a moment of remembrance at 10:55 a.m.
At that time, the County paid tribute on its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. Residents were asked to lower their American flags to half-staff on Sunday.
County Supervisor Robert Lovingood says for those suffering physical and emotional trauma from the events of three years ago, recovery resources are available.
