Riverside County traffic mishaps claim three lives
INLAND EMPIRE - (INT) - The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly Saturday night mishap on the I-215 in Perris.

Initial reports indicated that three vehicles were involved and one overturned in the center divider between the Placentia Avenue overcrossing and Nuevo Road. Southbound lanes were blocked causing a back-up for 3-miles.

Killed was William Shelton, 54, of Lemon Grove.

In Cabazon, an unrelated mishap claimed the life of a 23-year-old man from Santa Ana, Jose Aguilar. And earlier in Indio, a pedestrian was struck and killed near Interstate 10 and Highway 86, according to CalFire.
