RIVERSIDE – (INT) – The city’s signature event, the Festival of Lights, is about to end its 26th edition.

Hundreds of thousands visited the Mission Inn to watch 5 million holiday lights flicker on each night as 400 animatronic figures came to life.

“The Festival of Lights represents the best of Riverside – our history, our commitment to family and our desire to be together in a joyous season,” Mayor Rusty Bailey said.

More than 750,000 people have checked out downtown Riverside during the iconic six-week festival which ends Sunday.
