California ranked among family-friendly
California families have lots of kids, but a new survey suggests it may not be the best place to put down family roots.
WalletHub compared all fifty states using 49 key indicators ranging from median family salary to housing affordability to unemployment rate.
California ranks at or near the bottom in housing affordability, median family salary and child care costs.
It does best, however, in low infant mortality.
When comparing all fifty states, Minnesota was the best to raise a family and New Mexico the worst.
