San Bernardino police disclose two homicides
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – Police disclosed Monday they are investigating the city’s second and third homicides of the month, but have made no arrests and gave few details.

The shootings were, apparently, unrelated.

Richard Sams, 45, was slain inside a residence on North Cresent Avenue on January 14th. In statement Monday, police said the suspect is unknown.

Another man’s body was found January 18th in a vacant field on West 9th Street. Investigators said Monday the suspect is a male in his 20s.

During 2018, San Bernardino police reported 44 homicides in their city.
