Scandia closes Ontario amusement park
ONTARIO (INT) The Scandia Amusement Park alongside the I-15 is being dismantled.

The park was recently closed, reportedly, for repairs and upgrades. But, a website has listed its rides for sale including the main roller coaster for $950,000.

The owners will maintain a local presence of Scandia at its park in Victorville.

Scandia has been a fixture in Ontario for several years. Its closure leaves local fun seekers with few affordable choices.

Castle Park in Riverside and another amusement park adjoining the I-10 in Redlands are among the remaining options.
