Where are the regionís physically-healthiest cities?
INLAND EMPIRE Ė (INT) Ė Four of the regionís largest cities ranked near the bottom in a study of the nationís healthiest cities.
WalletHub compared more than 170 cities across 42 key metrics. The data set ranged from the cost of medical visit to fruit and vegetable consumption to fitness clubs per capita.
San Bernardino was lowest in the Inland Empire among California all cities that were ranked. Slightly higher were Moreno Valley, Ontario, Fontana and Riverside. Rancho Cucamonga was highest-ranked in the Inland Empire.
Nationwide, San Francisco came in at number-1 followed by San Diego. Brownsville, Texas was the nationís least healthiest.
WalletHub undertook the study as health care costs rise and life expectancy in the U.S. declined for the third year in a row.
