Brothers charged in disappearance of MoVal girl
MORENO VALLEY – (INT) – Two brothers face arraignment in the month-long disappearance of a teenage girl.

Homicide detectives have arrested two Hesperia brothers for the killing of Aranda Briones.

Owen Skyler Shover, age 18, and Gary Anthony Shover, age 21, were located late Monday night when a SWAT team served a search warrant at a residence on Grevillea Street in Hesperia. But, the 16-year-old girl has not been found and authorities are fearful she is dead.

Investigators have not said how the brothers are implicated in her disappearance.

Aranda was last seen January 13th near the Moreno Valley Community park on Frederick Street. She never returned home after a night out with friends.

The sheriff’s anti-human trafficking team and the FBI joined the investigation several days later.

The Shover brothers are scheduled to be arraigned March 1st.
