Local economy seen improving
Local purchasing managers are giving the Inland Empire improved economic numbers. The employment index rose sharply, according to the monthly outlook by the Institute of Applied Research at Cal State San Bernardino. Half of the purchasing managers surveyed believe the local economy will remain unchanged in the coming quarter, 31 percent think it will become stronger and the remainder believe it will weaken.
