Animals lost in Oak Glen Mountain Town Museum fire
OAK GLEN – (INT) – Damage is extensive in the wake of Thursday’s fire at the Mountain Town Animal Museum.

Wind fanned the flames resulting in a third alarm that brought fire fighters from as far away as Yucaipa and Redlands.

After the flames were doused, the owners of the museum said that 14 of the 32 animals were rescued. The others perished. Among the survivors were two geese, six water turtles and six parrots.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department is investigating cause of the fire.
