A sheriff’s helicopter crew battled high winds and low clouds to rescue an injured cross country skier on Telegraph Peak near Mt. Baldy late Tuesday. A fall had rendered the 25-year-old woman unconscious. The crew used night vision goggles to locate the woman and hoist her aboard the helicopter. (INT)
