Riverside County among nation's 10 most populous
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – No matter what yardsticks are used, the population growth of the Inland Empire cannot be denied.

New Census Bureau estimates show Riverside County has risen to become one of the nation’s ten most populous counties at 2,450,758 as of July 2018. It added 33,534 residents in just 12 months.

California claims four of the nation’s top ten most populous counties with Los Angeles County double second-place Cook County, Illinois.

When looking back 8-years to the 2010 census, Riverside County also made the nation’s top ten numeric growth list.

When combined with San Bernardino County, the Inland Empire as a Metropolitan area (MSA) gained 51,934 since 2010 landing in eighth in numeric growth among the nation’s MSA’s.
