Thursday’s potentially dangerous landing of a small plane on the I-215 freeway at the north edge of San Bernardino ended on a safe note. The pilot reported a mechanical malfunction forced the landing on the northbound lanes just north of the 210 interchange and managed to park the plane on a shoulder out of traffic lanes.
