Earth Day events begin
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Earth Day is being observed Monday, but a host of events have already been held.

Earth Day is an international recognition observed in 193 countries to demonstrate support for environmental protection.

Commuters are being invited to leave their cars at home on Monday and pledge to take public transportation. To make it happen, Metrolink will provide free rides on its regional rail system all day Monday.
