Purchasing managers weigh in on inland economy
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – The region’s economy is still growing, but at a slower pace the second quarter of the year.

Most key indicators in the local purchasing managers index (PMI) are down. But, the Institute of Applied Research at Cal State San Bernardino says overall growth has been sustained for 28 consecutive months.

Going forward, twenty-two percent (22%) of purchasing managers predicted that the local economy will become stronger in the upcoming months. An equal amount (22%) believe the local economy will become weaker. The remaining 56% of purchasing managers believe the local economy will remain unchanged.
