SACRAMENTO - (INT) - SSI recipients who may be eligible for CalFresh benefits (food stamps) can apply beginning June 1st.

Authorities explain that SSI and SSP benefits will NOT be reduced or eliminated as a result of ending cash-out.

The change means that an SSI recipient may receive CalFresh AND SSI/SSP benefits.

Applications will be accepted anytime beginning June 1st.
