Are retirees giving up on the Southland?
SOUTHLAND - (INT) - The Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim, CA metropolitan area ranks #3 in the U.S. among the metros where the most retirees are leaving.

MagnifyMoney, a LendingTree brand, looked at the number of residents over 65 who were out of the labor force who moved into a metro area and compared it to the number who moved out.

Some findings:
• The Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim, CA metro area ranks #3 in the country. It attracted 13,353 new seniors but 21,685 opted to leave. That left a net influx of -8,332.
• The New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Seattle metro areas are the top metros retirees are fleeing from.
