SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – A 45-year-old mother is under arrest on suspicion of allowing her Twin sons access to a gun that was accidentally used to kill one of them.

Police say the firearm was not secured in the family’s home on East Central Avenue.

One of Gabriela Keeton’s sons accidentally shot and fatally wounded a 12-year-old brother. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died Monday evening.

Keeton was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment.
