Property values gain the most in five cities
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – Values of more than 800,000 taxable properties in San Bernardino County continue climbing.

The annual Property Assessment Roll just issued surpassed $234 billion, a 5.8 percent increase over last year.

“A majority of assessment value growth was due to transfers of ownership, followed by commercial and residential construction, indicating healthy activity in our local economy,” County Assessor-Recorder-Clerk Bob Dutton said.

Among the county’s 24 cities, property values in Adelanto gained the fastest, up 10.7%. It was followed by Rialto (+8.8%), San Bernardino (+8.6%), Ontario (+7.4%) and Fontana (+6.8%).
