Southern Californians celebrate mild summer weather
SOUTHLAND - (INT) - Fourth of July weather will be a hold over through the weekend.

Forecasters are holding the status quo calling for only a few degrees of warming through Saturday.

Along the coast, the marine layer has become temporarily squashed but continues to be a major player in weekend weather conditions.

For Sunday and Monday, expect a deepening marine layer as temperatures recede up to 10 degrees below normal across the inland valleys.

Significant warming returns later in the week across SoCal with temperatures likely to trend above normal Wednesday through Friday.

At the beach, a high surf advisory with tides of more than 6-feet has been extended through Sunday.
