Fire burns 675 acres of desert brush
LUCERNE VALLEY – (INT) -San Bernardino County Fire Department brought out a full compliment and air and ground forces to battle Monday’s wildfire near Lucerne Valley.

When the fire was finally surrounded, 675 acres of desert brush was blackened.

The fire of unknown cause flared near Highway 247 and Lucerne Road.

Fire crews are patrolling the area for hot spots.

There were no injuries and no buildings were damaged.
