Price drop in summer gasoline running on fumes
SOUTHLAND – (INT) – The Automobile Club of Southern California has counted six consecutive weeks of declines in gasoline prices, but it may not last that much longer.

In Riverside, the average per-gallon price is $3.53 which is 14 cents lower than last month. In San Bernardino, the average price is four cents lower than the previous week and five cents higher than a year ago today.

California Energy Commission reports that local refineries have cut back California-blend gasoline production and are dipping into their inventories to meet demand.

“We’ll see in the next week if that action slows down price decreases at the pump,” the Auto Club’s Jeff Spring said.
