Coroner identifies shooting victims
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Gun violence has figured in the deaths of at least six persons in a series of unrelated homicides across the Inland Empire.

In San Bernardino, 24-year-old Nancy Magaña, a teacher at Del Vallejo Middle School, was sitting in her truck at a park with her boyfriend and son, when she was slain early Saturday. Police released no suspect information.

Nancy Magaña had started teaching math at the school just two weeks before she was killed, her family told CBS 2. She was also an assistant volleyball coach at the school, and it was her first full-time teaching job.

In Riverside, a man was found dead Saturday in a parking structure on University Avenue.

Earlier Friday in Beaumont, a double-murder-suicide claimed the lives of three persons at a residence on Crenshaw Street. There were no outstanding suspects. The victims were identified Sunday as Deborah and Tracy Shelby, age 68 and 46, and Bradley Wallace, 45, all of Beaumont.

Rialto police are saying little about an apparent homicide on North Maple Avenue.

Details of the incidents and identities of the victims were not immediately released.
