County supervisor Lovingood makes a decision
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – Two terms are enough for First District County Supervisor Robert Lovingood. He announced Friday he will not seek re-election next year, but said there’s much to be done until he leaves office.

Lovingood said his decision was a difficult one, but gave no reasons for stepping down.

Since being elected in 2012, Lovingood cited a list of accomplishments including establishment of a Technical Training Center, the Vision2Succeed Initiative and road and infrastructure improvements in his sprawling desert district.

“Some of my proudest endeavors have been launching our “Made in the High Desert” Manufacturing Summit and Veterans Resource Fair,” he said.

Lovingood will leave office in December 2020.
