Law enforcement cracking down on school crime
MORENO VALLEY – (INT) – Law enforcement is becoming more involved in school matters and bullying isn’t the only issue.

A 14-year-old student at Valley View High School was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of assaulting a school resource officer. The officer had confronted the student about a prior assault on another 14-year-old male student that was caught on video surveillance.

At Sunnymead Middle School, a 13-year-old student was arrested on suspicion of selling drugs on campus. The student admitted to possessing drugs and was found to have Marijuana, Xanax, a scale, and a pocket knife.
