MoVal city manager tenders retirement notice
MORENO VALLEY – (INT) – City Manager Tom DeSantis is stepping down.

The City Council Tuesday night accepted his notice of retirement effective at the end of the month.

DeSantis joined the City of Moreno Valley in 2011, serving as Human Resources Director, Administrative Services Director and Assistant City Manager before appointment as City Manager in 2017. His career of nearly 30 years also included senior management positions in Riverside and San Bernardino counties as well as the City of Riverside.

I have found it professionally and personally rewarding to be part of such a successful, community-driven team.”

The Council has appointed Economic Development Director Mike Lee as Interim City Manager.
