ONTARIO – (INT) – An incident of domestic violence came to a tragic end Saturday with the deaths of a woman and two children.

Police responded to reports that a woman had shot and wounded her husband at a home on East ‘F’ Street early Saturday.

Officers said the woman immediately barricaded herself inside the home as paramedics treated the husband.
A stand-off continued for several hours until after daybreak when police stormed the house and found the woman and two juveniles dead.

Identities of those involved were not immediately released. Reports that the woman was a probation officer could not be independently verified.

Police launched a full-scale investigation.
