Gasoline prices may seek new direction
SOUTHLAND – (INT) – Gasoline prices are holding steady, but changes could be coming.

The Energy Information Administration reports that West Coast gasoline inventories are at their highest level in more than a year. The Automobile Club of Southern California says that may bring a resumption in price drops provided there are no major refinery incidents in coming weeks.

Locally, the average per-gallon price in Riverside is $3.50 and in San Bernardino, it’s $3.57. That compares to the statewide average of $3.53 for a gallon of 87 octane regular.

Overall, pump prices are running 34-cents above a year ago.
