Explosions, fires destroy drug labs INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Operators of two suspected residential drug labs in Riverside County have survived extensive burns in a pair of explosions.
Investigators say an explosion in a clandestine drug lab set fire to a travel trailer parked at a Wildomar residence. One person survived and was getting hospital treatment for severe burns. The trailer was destroyed in the late Monday blast. The incident was preceded by a similar one Sunday in Menifee. Another man was severely burned when a butane honey oil (BHO) lab blew up. A residence on Ridgemoore Road sustained extensive damage. In both incidents, the victims were using volatile solvents including butane to produce honey oil, a form of concentrated cannabis.
