INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – The average sales price for a new or resale home in Riverside County has eclipsed $400,000.

CoreLogic/DQ News reported Wednesday that Riverside County homes sold in December averaged $401,250.

In San Bernardino County, the median price last month was $355,000 or the lowest price in the 6-county Southern California region.

The inventory of homes for sale in Southern California continued to fall, CoreLogic/DQ reported. But, sales activity picked up in December.
