What’s preventing gasoline prices from falling?
SOUTHLAND – (INT) – Gasoline prices are holding steady, but remain far above last year at this time.

The Oil Price Information Service reports there were two unplanned flaring incidents at the Phillips 66 refinery in Los Angeles and the PBF refinery in Torrance. But, the Automobile Club of Southern California reasons that could be preventing prices from dropping during a time of year when there are often declines in pump prices.

Locally, the average per-gallon price in Riverside is $3.50 and in San Bernardino it’s $3.56 for 87-octane regular grade. Those prices are 31-cents-a-gallon above last January at this time.
