More rural pot growers put out of business SAGE – (INT) – Yet another huge marijuana cultivation has been sidelined in what’s becoming a routine law enforcement action in rural areas of southern Riverside County.
Authorities are determined to put illegal growers, who believe they can get around California’s recreational marijuana law, out of business In the latest, sheriff’s eradication teams served six search warrants in the Sage area south of Hemet. Tens of thousands of plants were uprooted and hundreds of pounds of processed marijuana collected. The contraband weighed in at two tons. As a bonus, a disassembled honey oil lab, nine fire arms and six electric generators were seized as evidence. Four men were arrested and face marijuana cultivation charges.
