27-year law enforcement veteran Larry Gonzalez takes over February 7th as Riverside Chief of Police. Gonzalez has served as interim police chief since last September following the retirement of Chief Sergio Diaz. Gonzales has spent the past 15 years working his way through the management ranks of the RPD. (INT)
