Production of summer gas blend off-sets falling crude oil prices SOUTHLAND – (INT) – In spite of falling crude oil prices, gasoline pump prices are stuck in neutral.
California refineries are increasing production of the more expensive summer blend of fuel that goes into our gas tanks beginning next month. In Riverside and San Bernardino, the average price for a gallon of 87 octane regular is $3.51. That compares to a statewide average of $3.52. Prices since last month have inched slightly downward by 1-to-4 cents a gallon in the Inland Empire’s Metro area. The Automobile Club of Southern California doesn’t expect prices to move much lower in the coming days. Story Date: February 13, 2020
