February’s multiple homicides leave eight dead
ADELANTO – (INT) – Two people are dead in the Inland Empire’s third multiple homicide this month.

Sheriff’s deputies responding to a shooting in Adelanto Sunday morning found two people dead and a third injured. Killed were Pedro Espinoza and Rosa Mendoza, both aged 59. An investigation led to the arrest of Gerson Sagastume, 27, of Adelanto. He was later found hiding in an abandoned residence in Adelanto.

Earlier this month, three men were killed execution-style at a cemetery in Perris. A suspect was identified and was still being sought at last report.

And three women were slain at a home in Hemet. Two suspects were arrested after driving a stolen car to Las Vegas.

Authorities say the killings are not related.
