REDLANDS – (INT) - Law enforcement agencies throughout the Inland Empire are ramping up to protect lives and property because of those who may take advantage.

Most police departments are fully staffed with proactive patrols, particularly at night 7-days a week.

In Redlands, special assignment units are on added patrol particularly at night with double staffing.

Tips for business owners:
• Keep your business lit at night, inside and out.
• Keep windows uncovered so police can see inside.
• Make sure alarms and video surveillance systems are working properly and contact police immediately regarding any suspicious activity.
• Empty cash registers and make it obvious to others that they are empty by leaving them open with the drawers removed.
