25-year-old pharmacy tech dies of COVID-19
LA QUINTA – (INT) – There’s growing evidence that the coronavirus is not selective on who and where it strikes.

The body of a 25-year-old pharmacy technician was found March 25th in a Coachella Valley residence.

Riverside County health officials said the individual was exposed to COVID-19 outside the county and was in self quarantine in La Quinta when he died. The pharmacy technician lived in San Diego County had no underlying health issues. His identity was not released.

“This is a deeply saddening reminder that COVID-19 kills the young and healthy too,” said Riverside County public health officer Cameron Kaiser. “Stay safe. Keep travel and errands to essentials, and observe social distance no matter how young or well you are.”
