Norco protest draws opponents, supporters, curfew
NORCO – (INT) – Tensions were rising late Tuesday as demonstrators and protesters appeared outside a local retail store as part of the Black Lives Matter movement.

City officials declared a local emergency and put a curfew in place, reporter John Casper said.

Protesters with differing viewpoints on the Black Lives Matters movement, defunding police and the re-election of President Trump clashed while marching to Norco City Hall on Monday.

There were tense moments of pushing and shoving, but sheriff’s deputies intervened and deescalated the situation near Norco City Hall.
