Coronavirus at Riverside County Administrative Center curbed
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – County officials said Tuesday that of the 200 employees in the County Administrative Center that were exposed to the COVID-19 virus, only three were confirmed to have the disease.

Initially on June 26th, the county said ‘several’ of the employees were ‘confirmed’ to have the coronavirus and office closures were immediately imposed on the 4th and 5th floors. They remained closed as of late Tuesday.

County Executive Officer George Johnson said on June 26th, “We’ve acted quickly to temporarily close and set up testing to protect employees and residents who visit our offices.”

The office spaces were cleaned and disinfected to curb continued transmission, the initial statement read.
